I think that Gabriel is my guard angel, and I am pretty sure he saved my life more than once. I tried to reach him in this piece and bring him a tribute.
In my fantasy, the meeting occurs in space. See if you can get the feeling also playing this. The right-hand technic is like a tremolo on 2 strings.
I think quite a special piece. I was happy to play it for Maestro Leo Brouwer and he was very positive about it.
